There is a program that is called open office.org It will be a free download. Do a search and you should find it.
You will be able to make spread sheets and keep your information sorted out

Hi there,

Anyone have an Excel or similar software that can itemise Oilfield equipment.

Suggested 'fields': Description, Part Number, Serial Number, Quantity on Hand, location, Remarks.

If possible a 'search' facilty.

The idea is to make an inventory of the individual parts of an assembly:

ie. Assembly PN: 1234567, Item #, Individual PN etc.
