Event Date :    10/12/2007  2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (GMT 0)
Posted By :    Forum Administrator
Event Details :    Drilling through tar, salt overhangs, lost circulation zones and high temperatures/high pressures are just some examples of the challenges faced in today's drilling environment. With rig rates at an all-time high and personnel at a premium, understanding how to handle these situations is critical to HSE issues and keeping within project economics while staying on schedule. To help operators overcome these problems, the 3rd annual Drilling Trouble Zones forum is scheduled for October 10-12, 2006 in Galveston, Texas.

This event will highlight the latest developments in a variety of technologies aimed at mitigating trouble zones. In addition, case studies on key fields will highlight new techniques and best practices associated with drilling. The 2006 Technical Advisory Board, led by Chairman Dan Postler of Devon Energy, is currently finalizing a two-day program of case studies and expert presentations on this well-timed topic. Industry experts will present their experiences dealing with complex wells and unexpected situations at the Drilling Trouble Zones Forum. Make plans to attend this interactive event, participate in the question and answer periods, and learn more about:
