This three-day course is designed for geologists and petroleum engineers and will provide an excellent overview of the limits and benefits of modern seismic techniques, including the relationship between well logs and seismic traces. The session will emphasize a number of examples drawn from the North American petroleum sector. The definition and utilization of seismic resolution and its role in establishing estimates of reserves in thin pay zones will be discussed in detail. A complete set of course materials and lunches are included.
