Appraisal of Oil and Gas Properties
This two-day course will provide petroleum industry professionals with a practical understanding of the appraisal methods best applied in the valuation of oil and gas properties, ranging from producing to rank exploratory acreage. The session will include both the formal appraisal concepts required by the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices as well as practical applications of economics such as needed in revenue matters and market transactions. The numerous trades most recently experienced in the market will be emphasized throughout the course. A complete set of course materials (more than 200 pages with check lists and case histories) and lunches are included. Participants are requested to bring a calculator for hands-on appraisals in class.
