Appraisal of Oil and Gas Properties
This two-day course will provide petroleum industry professionals with a practical understanding of the appraisal methods best applied in the valuation of oil and gas properties, ranging from producing to rank exploratory acreage. The session will include both the formal appraisal concepts required by the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices as well as practical applications of economics such as needed in revenue matters and market transactions. The numerous trades most recently experienced in the market will be emphasized throughout the course. A complete set of course materials (more than 200 pages with check lists and case histories) and lunches are included. Participants are requested to bring a calculator for hands-on appraisals in class. Introduction to ASME B31.3 Process Piping Code

This two-day course will introduce participants to the ASME B31.3 Process Piping Code. The Code provides requirements for the design, fabrication, examination and testing of metallic piping systems designed for the wide variety of fluid services used in the process industries. Selection of materials, pipe, valves and fittings will be discussed. Participants are encouraged to bring a copy of the code (not included in course fees) to the session. A complete set of course materials and lunch are included.
