This popular 3-day course is designed for managers, engineers, geologists, land men, scientists, accountants and others concerned with evaluating investments in a before-tax environment, relates to the economic analysis of income and service producing investments using discounted cash flow analysis techniques to optimize the economic value from development and operation of petroleum production and processing operations. The concepts of time value of money are developed and applied to calculating various decision criteria with emphasis placed on not just making the calculation, but understanding the meaning of the result and properly applying each criteria on a before-tax basis.
