Canadian Offshore Oil and Gas Mission to Mexico

Villahermosa & Ciudad Del Carmen, Mexico
The mission will include a technical seminar on Deepwater Offshore Oil and Gas in Villahermosa with Petróleos Mexicanos [PEMEX], followed by a day of meetings in Villahermosa with PEMEX and other important industry players. The final two days will take place in Ciudad del Carmen, the headquarters for PEMEX Exploration and Production North East Marine and South West Marine regions, for meetings with PEMEX and important players in Mexico's offshore oil and gas industry.

Energy and Capacity Optimization in Gas Processing Plants
Calgary, Canada

This one-day course will provide participants with tools to identify, prioritize, and remedy wasted energy primarily in gas processing facilities, with an emphasis on inefficient and under utilized compressors, engines, refrigerant plants, cooling systems, turbines, and steam plants. The session will benefit field operations personnel with the ongoing optimization of existing systems, and will assist process and project engineers and technologists with cost-benefit analyses relating to capital and operating costs for capital budgets along with the selection of electric versus gas driven equipment. The course is designed for engineers, technologists, and operations personnel involved in the design or operation of oil and gas processing plants. A complete set of course materials and lunch are provided.

This two-day course is designed for both technical and non-technical professionals involved in calculating or reporting Oil & Gas Proved Reserves in accordance with current U.S.A. government regulations. The session will emphasize basic reserve definitions and reporting requirements, with particular attention given to estimation tips and the (SEC) Standardized Measure Report. The course will include a number of relevant problems and real-life examples. A custom-designed (for participants' companies) reserves performance analysis is also presented.
